About the Dexter Traditional 7 in Wide Boning Knife
Made to handle whatever type of fish you need to fillet or debone. This knife has been a favorite of charter and commercial fishers for years. It is capable of filleting and deboning perch and other small panfish, as well as many types of larger fish. Over time, the blade may develop a dark patina, but completely normal during the course of using it.
Blade is fully crafted out of Carbon Steel and should be dried after each use.
Hand-washing and sanitizing is recommended to best preserve the blade.
